EMMA 37

I bought this bag because I can 100% relate to the founder’s reason for starting this brand. I needed a bag that is practical & professional, and my $15 bag does from amazon does that but isn’t beautiful like this one. This bag is truly gorgeous and well made.

However: there is no way this bag fits a 15” laptop. My IT team tried 7 different laptops across 3 brands (Dell, Lenovo, Apple) and no 15” laptop would fit. The 14” Lenovo fit but was WAY too snug to practically use on a daily basis. I switched to a 13” MacBook Pro so that I could keep this bag for everyday use, and that is about the size limit of laptop you could fit.

I will likely upgrade to the 39 at some point because I can’t imagine taking this to travel if I need to fit files as well - it wouldn’t close all the way. But for everyday use to go between home and the office it’s great (as long as you have a small enough laptop!)

I was looking for a cute bag that wasn’t athletic material to carry my 13” laptop, a few other work things, have some organization vs the typical open black hole and an option for cross body + shoulder straps. This purse exceeded my expectations. I always look put together while still having access to my laptop whenever I need it. The powder blue color legit goes with everything! Great purchase!

I found my new everyday bag. There’s so many compartments inside the bag which makes it easy to vary all your essentials. I’m a busy accountant so this bag will be perfect to use daily.

Beautiful bags

I've had cute bags and I've had work bags... but never both! I feel like there's always some sort of compromise but this one has everything I could ask for! The genuine leather is a huge selling point for me, it stays super organized and it holds so much stuff. I couldn't be happier! I get so many compliments too, it looks so posh and put together.

This is my second Emma 37. I travel a lot and this is the perfect work travel bag. The new color is beautiful. Thanks for such a great product!

It is a great bag - I wish I got a larger one. This one is a bit small for a work bag but the blue vegan was not an option in the larger size.

This bag is a classic. It's the perfect size for my everyday needs. Please make it available in spring/summer colors so I can buy another

A very nice quality bag off the bat. I was a small bag girly and everything else I had to bring to work was thrown into a tote bag, so this is a huge upgrade for me. The box it came in was put through the wringer but the purse inside was in perfect condition. My 13” laptop sits snug in there and pretty much all of my essentials for my job fit in there as well. It’s a big bag so I wouldn’t recommend it for small trips to the store, but it works perfect for hauling my stuff to work. Overall, I would recommend if you have a medium amount of junk to lug with you day to day.

After working from home for 7 years for a major tech company, I accepted a job with a family owned business where I have a hybrid work arrangement.

I needed a new bag that would carry my laptop and other supplies and papers back and forth from the office and fit within the conservative definition of business casual held by the family’s elderly matriarch.

After several days of searching and finding only inexpensive, unattractive utilitarian bags or beautiful bags costing thousands of dollars, I found the JEMMA 37 in camel brown.

I’ll say it again: I love, love, love, love this bag! It’s beautiful, functional, well-made and reasonably priced. I’ve been using it consistently since early January. The leather still looks beautiful, the bag has held its shape and it looks fantastic with everything from suits to jeans. I get tons of compliments when I carry it.

The bag fits all of the following without being bent out of shape or stretching the flap: my 13” laptop, plus the cord, mouse and mouse pad, my large wallet, my double sided glasses case with my regular and sun glasses, my glasses cleaning kit, a wireless charger, a toothbrush and toothpaste kit, a pill box, a fully loaded Swiss Army knife, 2 mobile phones, a business card case, a small makeup kit, car keys and more than a few files and/or stacksof lose papers, plus an occasional can of Poppi soda.

I know some people mention that their 37 can hold a 14” laptop. Mine can’t do that without stretching the bag, which I don’t want to do.

My one criticism is that the lock scratches easily. If I were buying the bag again, I’d leave the plastic on the hardware to protect it.

Even with that flaw, I highly recommend this bag. I’m more than happy with my purchase. As noted, it was the answer to my briefcase/ computer bag problems.

This is my third JEMMA purchase. I love this size and the bag. For those of you who are curious, I can fit the following items comfortably:

This is THE bag I’ve been looking for! It’s large for a purse but so dainty, feminine, and sleek for a work bag. My laptop fits securely and the snaps allow you to open the bag and get a good glimpse inside. White lining is so clever and helps ensure things don’t get lost. The leather is of a great quality and the navy blue is classic but unexpected in a sea of black bags.

I have been searching for a laptop bag that also doubles as a purse and glad to find this bag. It is a bit of a splurge for a laptop bag but I'm happy with the purchase. It is not too small and not too large. It fits all the things I thought I'd put in it, although it is a bit tight at times. It does stop me from putting unnecessary items in it :). The leather and all the brass fittings are very classy and of great quality.

I’ve been searching for the perfect laptop bag! I wanted a bag with pockets and could function as a purse. I finally found it with my complement grabbing Jemma! I love the look and feel! It’s perfect!

After months of research for a new work handbag, I finally stumbled upon this gem of a bag. I knew I wanted something big enough to fit my laptop, but not so large that it looks like I’m carrying my life with me at all time (which I do, but I don’t want it to LOOK like I do). The laptop sleeve is a tight fit for my 13 inch laptop, but I knew the JEMMA 39 would be a little bigger than I wanted, so I’ve made it work.

The bag is clearly well made, and while it was a bit of a splurge for me, it’s held up well so far to the amount of weight I put in her. The shoulder strap is perfect for when I completely fill her up and need to give my arm a break from all that weight.

I’ve gotten so many compliments on her so far and feel so put together whenever I’m carrying her around. You seriously can’t go wrong with this bag!
