BIRDIE 43

This is a bit smaller than I anticipated, because I was planning on using it as a weekender but have a difficult time packing my items in it. However when it comes to an everyday bag and gym bag it is wonderful. All of the pockets are great for organizations I love the touch of the detachable key ring it shows how thoughtful they were in designing it. I do wish the laptop/book pocket had a button or someway to secure it as it kinda flips open so you have to push it back to get to the middle compartment, however that wouldn’t stop me from purchasing it. Overall the bag is great and I’m considering purchasing the Jackie bag as a weekender.

We returned a similar Birdie bag for a different color; she is thrilled with the redesign and loved the Oxford blue color !!

The bag is bigger and heavier than expected. (I didn't pay attention to the size spec stated in the product description)

But I must say it is a very well-made bag. The material and hardware are of good quality, feels solid.
Despite my petite frame, the shoulder strap and handle are quite comfortable.
Another plus is the contrast checked lining which makes it easier to look for things.
Overall, it is a beautiful staple bag.

Bought the Birdie as a gift for my brother's wife, she actually owns a few of those over the top expensive ones (urka?, brrkas? whatever the name is) that cost more than my car. To my surprise she was blown away with the quality and said her Birdie is right there up top with those expensive ones but actually has real functionality and space to use. She has not put that bag down since and those whatever you pronounce them are now collecting dust, her words.

I love the interior design of this tote. It's white with a sophisticated stripe. This makes finding anything so easy. Very nice tote.

This bag is the perfect size for road trips or a personal item for flying.

So this bag is intended to supplement my roll aboard suitcase. It fits nicely under a seat (happened to be a Southwest flight). It held everything I needed for what I wanted to access for the flight. The shoe compartment is great, however it does eat into the space in the bag. The opening does not open fully however I think that is meant to prevent over stuffing. It works for a one nighter perfectly maybe two in the summer time since clothes are less bulk then. Hardware feels quality and the shoulder strap and trolley sleeve are great for being hands free. Ultimately happy with this bag because it was what I was looking for, not something gigantic that pushes the boundary of personal item.

The bag looks good and can hold a lot.

The Birdie 43 is the best purchase I've made in a long time. The bag accommodates my laptop and my written notes, a couple of magazines, a change of clothes (leggings, underwear and top), dirty clothes bag (which came with Birdie), card slots for my passport, ID, etc., a bottle of water that I purchased in the airport. I also stored a pair of shoes in the bottom slot perfectly. I included toiletries, in case there was a flight change and I'd need to freshen up.

My trip went well, in fact, exceptionally well, because my Birdie 43 provided everything I needed for a comfortable trip.

Oh yeah, the Birdie outside pocket that converts to a luggage handle slot made navigating with my suitcase so easy. I used the pocket to hold my boarding pass when I needed it, and once I needed to attach dear Birdie to my suitcase, I unzipped, attached and rolled on.

Birdie and I will travel overseas soon together.

Love the organizers and styling so much that I bought a second color. I may love the green even more than the crimson! Traveling with it now in Kauai. The only cons for me are that my 1st bag got a few scuffs on it from two recent months in Europe. I’d love to fix these and prevent them with my new bag. The 2nd con is that when I have a small MacBook Air and a pair of shoes in their compartments, the available space in the main compartment is compromised. Even with those cons, the Birdie is way more functional than any bag from a comparable brand.

I like the old school quailty fabric easy to clean and very roomy.

The nylon and vegan leather feel extremely high end--a very, very well-made product. Most of all, I just love the design--so different from anything else out there but the shape is deceiving--you can fit a lot inside it. Perfect for my personal item for my upcoming trip to Nashville!

Great bag for an overnight or weekend trip. Lots of storage, cute, great in-between size. Travel Tip: If you are going on a plane, the bottom section is perfect for stuffing in a sweater or small travel blanket. I love putting my sweater there as you don't have to open up the whole bag to quickly grab it. Nice light weight bag that will last a long time!

I purchased this bag to help my dad out with my stepmother who recently suffered a life-altering stroke. Our family has many long days ahead of us in the ICU, PCU, rehabilitation facilities, and eventually a long-term care facility. Anyone who has been there for a family member knows how long hospital days can be. Layer your clothes in case you are cold or hot & wear comfortable shoes & bring your phone, laptop, lunch, a bottle of water, book, and magazines. This bag allows me to omit a purse & bring one bag. I'm back in the town I attended junior & senior high school. It's great for spending the night seeing old friends for a girls’ night. This bag is awesome!

This is my second Birdie 43. I had the black one and I wanted the red for a Valentine get-away. I should have waited though because after I ordered mine, there was an offer for a free Blair jewelry case which I missed out on! Bummer!

This bag is perfect for an overnight trip. It has enough room for PJs, one pair of shoes, jeans, a shirt and a sweater plus your makeup bag.

I'm using overnight this week. I love the looks. I wish I would have bought the bigger one. I think it will be fine when flying. It's very pretty.
